Nokia 3.1 Plus update error

My software version number suggests that my phone has been affected, but I don’t know if I received the over-the-air update. How do I know if my phone has been fixed?

If your Nokia 3.1 Plus connects to the internet while we are rolling out the over-the-air update to fix the issue, your device probably received the update. Devices that receive the update will automatically restart to install the update.

Once the device restarts itself, you may start to see an error message that a recent update was unsuccessful. On this occasion, this message actually means that the update was installed and that the software error has been fixed. You can close this message. If you are given the option to Try again, there is no need to press it.

Your software version number will not change after this update has been installed.

If your device has not automatically restarted itself yet, make sure you at least occasionally connect it to the internet.
