Scratch and Win Promotion Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 10 August 2025

Following terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) shall apply to the Scratch and Win promotion (the ‘’Promotion”) detailed below. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the term HMD or Organizer, when used with reference to a legal entity, shall mean M/s. HMD Mobile International Oy (Pakistan Liaison office) (“Organizer” or “HMD”).

1. Promotion Period
The Promotion is valid from 10 August 2025 until 30 September 2025.

2. Eligibility
Promotion is open only to those who purchase an HMD Aura2 or HMD Arc device from HMD’s authorized retailers or official online partners during the Promotion Period and who are at least 18 years as of the date of entry (“Participant”). The Promotion is only open to legal residents of Pakistan and is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Organizer, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

3. Promotion Rules
Eligible Participants purchasing an HMD Aura2 or an HMD Arc device from HMD’s authorized retailers or official online partners during the Promotion Period shall receive a Scratch and Win scratch card (“Scratch Card”) with the device.

One Scratch Card is connection to a purchased qualifying device. Each Scratch Card contains one prize as further detailed below in these Terms and Conditions. Only one prize redemption claim can be made per Scratch Card. Any claims, including prize redemption claims, must be made within 15 days of the purchase of the qualifying device.

Damaged or illegible Scratch Cards will not be accepted. Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and physical prizes cannot be redeemed for cash unless explicitly stated. Organizer is not responsible for lost, late, or tampered Scratch Cards, technical failures, or delivery delays.

In case Participant returns the qualifying device, the prize must also be returned.

By participating, the Participant agrees to be fully unconditionally bound by these Terms and Conditions, and the Participant represents and warrants that he/she meets the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, the Participant agrees to accept the decisions of Organizer, as final and binding as it relates to the Promotion. If Participant uses fraudulent methods or otherwise attempts to circumvent these Terms and Conditions, Participant’s eligibility may be revoked at the sole discretion of Organizer.

4. How to Participate
The Participant must:

  1. Purchase a qualifying device as further described in these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Scratch the Scratch Card received in connection to the qualifying device.
  3. Follow the instructions for prize redemption.

5. Prizes
Prizes include:

  1. Physical items such as 40” Smart LED TVs, Electric Bikes, HMD smartphones, kitchen appliances.
  2. Cashbacks between 500-25,000 PKR.
    Each Scratch Card contains a minimum reward of 500 PKR.

6. Prize Redemption
Cashbacks between 500-1,000 PKR – Redeemable by the Participant at the store from the retailer against the Scratch Card at the time of purchase. Alternatively, the prize can be redeemed following the same process as for Physical Prizes and cashbacks over 1,000 PKR described below.

Physical Prizes and cashbacks over 1,000 PKR – To redeem the prize, Participant must send the following information to the WhatsApp number 0316-2809565:

  • Clear picture of the Scratch Card;
  • Picture of the activated qualifying device;
  • IMEI of the qualifying device;
  • Scratch Card serial number;
  • Purchase invoice/bill of the qualifying device; and
  • CNIC picture

Except in cases where cashback is received immediately at the retailer store, the prizes will be delivered to Participant within 30 working days after valid redemption claim submission.

7. Changes
Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion should (in its sole discretion) a virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Promotion.

8. Limitation of Liability
By entering you agree to release and hold harmless Organizer and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant's participation in the Promotion and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof, (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.

9. Privacy Policy
Any personal data relating to this Promotion shall be processed in accordance with HMD Privacy Policy.

10. Disputes
This Promotion is governed by the laws of Finland. You irrevocably agree that Finnish courts shall have the exclusive jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, other than participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Promotion), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
