Yes, the phone comes with several essential apps already installed as part of the operating system. These include Calculator, Calendar, Clock, Contacts, Messages, Phone, and Settings.
These core apps are permanent and cannot be removed, disabled, or restricted by Focus or Bedtime Modes or screen time settings. They are integral to the phone’s functionality and always remain accessible.
In addition to these, the phone also has some default apps such as Camera, Google Play Store and an Internet browser. While these apps cannot be uninstalled, parents can use parental controls to hide them or set time limits to manage how much their child uses them.
Installing additional apps
Thanks to the Google Play Store, your child can download a wide variety of apps!
Using the HMD HarmBlock+ app, parents have control over these apps—they can choose to allow an app to be visible on the phone or hide it to prevent its use.
