We would like to inform our users that during 2025, we are discontinuing the HMD User Experience Program (UEP), which collects device, app usage, and telemetry data to help us improve our products and services.

As part of this process:

• Collection and processing of UEP data on our backend servers will stop.
• All historical UEP data currently stored will be permanently deleted.
• For devices that may continue to send UEP data temporarily, we will not store this data while ensuring device functionality is not affected.
• To reflect this change in the User Experience Program, updates will be made to device settings and user interface of devices which have a planned software update.

Our Privacy Policy and User Experience Program documentation will be updated to reflect this change. In the meantime, this notice serves as official communication to our users regarding the discontinuation of the UEP program.
