HMD Fusion Blacknut Marketing Campaign - Two (2) Months Free Blacknut Subscription Redemption Terms and Conditions
Promotion period 20th June 2025 to 31st October 2025
The following Terms and Conditions shall apply to the above-named promotion and are subject to change without notice. This promotion is held by HMD Mobile India Private Limited (“HMD”).
I. About the promotion
In this promotion, eligible customers who have purchased an HMD Fusion along with HMD Fusion Gaming Outfit (“Eligible Device”) in India from HMD.com (https://www.hmd.com/en_in) will be able to claim two (2) months of Blacknut Subscription for free by validating their device and sharing their email address on hmd.com/en_in/blacknut-redemption.
Two (2) months of Blacknut Subscription for free for each purchase of an Eligible Device. The promotion period is from 20th June 2025 to 31st October 2025, subject to the stock availability.
II. HMD and their rights as holder of the promotion
HMD reserves the right at its absolute discretion to disqualify customers claims which it considers do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
HMD shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all reasonable action to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims including, but not limited to, requiring further verification of proof of purchase, as well as the identity, age, and other relevant details of a participating customer.
HMD shall not be liable for any interruption to the promotion due to circumstances force majeure or other factors beyond the control of HMD.
HMD reserves the right, acting reasonably and in accordance with all relevant legislation and codes of practice, to alter the Terms and Conditions of the promotion without notice.
HMD will not be responsible or liable for the following:
a. Any failure to receive claims form submissions due to transmission failures and other conditions beyond the reasonable control of HMD.
b. Customer claims that are late, lost, misrouted, or damaged.
c. Any malfunctions or failures pertaining to communications and the use of computers.
d. Any disruptions, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of the HMD.
e. Any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the promotion.
f. Any misuse of the promotion or attempts to redeem the subscription offer using fraudulent means or via unauthorised channels.
g. Any issues arising from the third-party service provider (Blacknut), including service access, performance, or content, for which HMD assumes no responsibility.
h. Any failure of the customer to comply with the applicable terms and conditions of the third-party service provider.
i. Any consequences arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer at the time of redemption.
Subject to any applicable law:
a. All warranties of any kind whatsoever, whether express or implied, are hereby expressly disclaimed by HMD including, but not limited to, meeting of the customer's requirements or aspirations, timeliness, security, the results or reliability of the promotion, or the delivery, quality, quantity, merchantability, fitness for use or non-infringement in respect of any Nokia or HMD products/assured gift/ subscription received under this promotion.
b. The customer expressly agrees that his/her participation in this promotion is at the customer's sole risk and is governed by the Terms and Conditions herein.
c. No advice or information whether by representations, oral, written or pictorial derived from the website or through this promotion shall be construed to mean the giving of any warranty of any kind by HMD.
III. Eligible customer(s)
To qualify for this promotion, customers must meet the following eligibility criteria:
The customer must be a resident of India and the purchase and redemption should happen in the same country.
The customer must be over 18 years old as of the date of entry.
The customer must purchase Eligible Device. The HMD Fusion Gaming Outfit must be purchased only during the promotion period between 20th June 2025 and 31st October 2025.
The customer must purchase Eligible Device from HMD.com only.
The customer must be in possession of the purchased Eligible Device and must not have returned the device for a refund or exchange.
Customers must submit a claim form for their two (2) month free Blacknut Subscription not later than 31st October 2025 23:59 GMT time.
IV. Responsibilities of the participating customer
Customers will be solely responsible for any and all applicable taxes and any other costs or expenses that arise from participation of the promotion which are not stated in the Terms and Conditions as being included.
By participating in this promotion, the customer agrees, to the extent permitted by applicable laws, to hold HMD and its Affiliates harmless from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from participation in or in connection with the promotion. This includes, but is not limited to, awarding, acceptance, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of the products included in this promotion.
V. Limitation of Liability
Limitations of liability detailed in these Terms and Conditions shall not apply to liability arising from fraud (including fraudulent misrepresentation), death or personal injury caused as a result of negligence on the part of customers who have purchased Eligible Device.
HMD will not accept any liability or responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any customer as a result of claiming the subscription under this promotion.
VI. Restrictions
The promotion is subject, but not limited to, the following restrictions:
Eligible customers will be able to claim a two (2) month Blacknut Subscription for free per Eligible Device purchase.
The promotion is valid only while stocks last.
Customers who purchase their Eligible Device outside of the promotion period are not eligible to enter this promotion.
Claims submitted after the promotion period will not be eligible.
Claims form submissions that include incomplete, inaccurate or unintelligible information will be deemed invalid. HMD accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed or damaged data which occurs during transmission of the promotion claim.
Employees or agents of HMD that are involved in the operation of this promotion or any other persons working on the promotion in a professional capacity are not eligible to participate in this promotion.
Network providers, retailers, distributors, resellers and any person who purchases an Eligible Device for purposes other than to be the user of the product – for example, resale purposes – may not participate in this promotion.
The two (2) month free Blacknut Gaming Subscription is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
VII. How Eligible customers can claim their free two (2) month Blacknut Subscription
Eligible customers will be able to submit a claims form during the promotion period by following the instructions on the redemption site: hmd.com/en_in/blacknut-redemption.
VIII. Communication with the customer and confirmation of eligibility
After submitting the claims form, the customer of an Eligible Device can expect the following communication:
The customer will receive a confirmation message on the redemption page shortly after submitting the claim form. The purpose of this message is to confirm that their claim was successfully submitted and what the next steps will be.
The customer’s eligibility is checked using the IMEI code provided in the claims form. The customer’s eligibility is checked within 14 days of the claim form submission.
Only if the customer’s claim is successful, will the customer be sent a code to the email they have specified in the claim form, which can be used activate the free two (2) month Blacknut Gaming Subscription.
To claim the free trial, the customer must visit the specified page (as informed by HMD over email).
The customer will be redirected to a page where they must enter the code received via email, followed by entering their payment method to complete the activation process.

Please note that if a participating customer does not see the confirmation message on the redemption page, it means that the submission is not successful, and the customer will have to submit the claims form again until the confirmation message is visible.
IX. Data handling
All personal data will be processed in accordance with HMD Global privacy policy, available at https://www.hmd.com/en_in/privacy.
X. Disputes
This promotion is governed by the laws of India. The customer irrevocably agrees that courts at New Delhi shall have the exclusive jurisdiction. Any disputes, differences and, or, any other matters in relation to and arising out of the promotion and, or, pertaining to the Terms and Conditions shall be referred to arbitration. The arbitral tribunal shall consist of a sole arbitrator to be appointed by HMD. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, other than participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated
with entering this promotion), and customer further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
