PTT key
Push-to-Talk (PTT) lets you use your phone like a walkie-talkie. By pressing a designated button, you can quickly send voice messages to individuals or groups using a supported PTT app. To access Push-to-Talk functionality, you'll need to sign up for one of the supported PTT apps. Some advanced PTT features may require a paid subscription. Check with your app provider for more details.
Set up your PTT key
During the Setup Wizard, choose a PTT app to link to the left-side PTT key. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup and link your preferred PTT app. If you skipped setting up a PTT function during the Setup Wizard, you'll be prompted to choose one the first time the PTT key is pressed.
You can change the PTT app linked to your PTT key at any time:
- Select
Settings >Push-To-Talk . - Under
Select your Push-To-Talk button function , choose a different app.
The PTT key can also be used to launch other options, such as apps or shortcuts.
- To link it to a shortcut, go to
Settings >Push-To-Talk >System Shortcut and select your desired shortcut. - To use it to launch an app, go to
Settings >Push-To-Talk > selectApplication , then tap settings and select your app.
