I’ve enabled access to a web browser on my child’s HMD Fuse. Can they use it to access social media?

Web browsers can be used to access social media sites on the HMD Fuse phone. Although the Website Block feature blocks access to sites known to contain nude imagery, as well as other sites not suitable or safe for children, this feature does not block popular social media and streaming websites. However, if images or videos containing nudity appear on permitted websites, the HarmBlock AI will still block the screen when such imagery is detected.

To help prevent access to social media entirely, the guardian can disable access to any web browsers.

Alternatively, guardians can consider using Google Family Link to define their own list of blocked websites.
