Remove private content from your phone
If you buy a new phone, or otherwise want to dispose of or recycle your phone, here’s how you can remove your personal info and content.
Remove content from your phone
When removing private content from your phone, pay attention to whether you are removing content from the phone memory or the SIM card.
- To remove messages, select
Menu > >Options >Delete more >Options >Choose all >Done . Go to the folder you want to empty, and selectOptions >Delete conversation >Yes . - To remove contacts, select
Menu > >Options >Delete contacts >Options >Choose all >Done >Delete . - To remove your call info, select
Menu > >Clear call log >All calls . - Check that all your personal content has been removed.
